Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) is an evidence-based, person-centred approach within the NDIS that focuses on understanding the reasons behind behaviours of concern and supporting safe, meaningful participation in everyday life. At Kama Care, we work collaboratively with you, your family, and your support network to understand individual needs, identify contributing factors, and develop practical, least-restrictive strategies that promote independence, wellbeing, and quality of life.
Our practitioners take a holistic approach, considering your strengths, communication needs, daily routines, environment, cultural background, and support relationships. Based on this understanding, we develop an individualised Behaviour Support Plan that focuses on:
